As far back as I can remember in my professional radio career (1975), Radio & Records was there -- every week; bringing me news of what my colleagues and peers in radio were doing and playing, and thinking. This afternoon, it was announced that the venerable R&R is shuttering up on June 5. Not even an R&R Online will exist - that expected to be gone by the weekend also.
