WARNER BROTHERS RECORDS INVITES DENVER’S FASHION POP ARTIST MADISON GUTHRIE TO RECORD WITH RICHARD HARRIS AND MARC NELKIN--TWO OF THE HOTTEST POP SONGWRITERS IN HOLLYWOOD

This week veteran A&R representative Nick Haussling invited Denver’s fashion pop artist Madison Guthrie to spend three days in Warner Bros. Records’ Burbank recording studios to record new songs with Ke$ha songwriter Marc Nelkin. I June, Madison spent time recording new songs with songwriter Richard Harris who has written songs for artists like Kelly Clarkson and Christina Aguilera. Madison Guthrie seems poised to be one of the first female pop artists to break it big out of Colorado, which has seen a number of male-based acts recently become top national acts, including The Fray, 303 and One Republic. Just this week, Madison launched her new Facebook artist website and collected more than 500 new fans in just the first three days the site was up. Madison is teaming up with fashion designer Gabriel Conroy to present a completely new type of performance and launch her own trademark genre—Fashion Pop. Madison will performing her songs on the runway with her dance troupe while Gabriel’s models strut their stuff to launch his new EcoBoom Line couture and wearable fashion. The event is being held at Casselman’s Bar and Venue on Walnut Street in LoDo this Saturday evening, July 10, 2010.
